| PRESIDENTIAL MESSAGE |
 |
|
In 2001 as a seedling in the dental profession, my employer invited me to participate in the NCAVAD Gala festivities. Naively, I said, “Yes,” not wanting to disappoint my boss. However, through the warm reception of its members, I found my dental profession family and home.
Through the years, I have found NCAVAD a wonderful place to establish long lasting friendships, create relationships with mentors, and further my professional development. Mostly importantly, NCAVAD has instill in me a sense cultural awareness and pride.
As NCAVAD President, I hope to continue the Association’s great traditions of volunteerism, quality CE courses, scholarship programs and fun-filled cultural and social events. In addition, with YOUR help, I wish to broaden our community outreach programs and create a more welcoming environment for our youth, NCAVAD’s future leaders.
Finally, I would like to invite you to attend our Annual Spring Gala on March 28 to be held at the Wyndham Hotel. The evening’s events include a showcase of NCAVAD talents, as well as vendors with on-site special promotions exclusively for NCAVAD members. I hope to see everyone there..
Sincerely yours,
Dieulien Tong
*** Please help the Executive Committee to better meet your needs by emailing your comments and suggestions to ncavad@gmail.com. Thank you for your continued support.
